It’s finally the weekend! I plan on lazing around and watching tv…but I’ll still be busy doing work of some sort such as online work for my private pilots license. Not completely relaxing but it’s better than running around town all day…especially since it’s storming now!
For the past 8 days, the Brooks Brothers Semi-Annual Sale has been going on. It still has 10 days left! It was only today though that I got a chance to sneak a peek into the sale and find what I apparently ‘needed’. I bought four items. I was surprised that such cute items still had my size available! There are still a lot of items where my size is no longer available, but buying these cute four items nearly 50% sure made up for it. 🙂
- The first item I bought was the BB Cotton Polo Sweater. I love short sleeve sweaters because I get cold easily but I also don’t want the heavy weight of a long sleeve sweater that will overheat me after 10 minutes of wearing it. This was originally $88, but I was able to grab it up for $44! I plan on pairing this with a pair of white jeans or skirt to match the contrasting collar!
- The second item I bought was the BB Supima Cotton Oxford Stripe Shirt. I’ve had my eye on this shirt for what seems forever. I have a pair of Prada flats in a light pink color that would match this perfectly. I would also more than likely pair this with my favorite white jeans from J. Brand. This shirt was originally $75 but I got it for $56.25.
- I can never go into a Brooks Brothers sale without buying a dress! This dress is the Denim Pullover Dress. They are true to size and are relatively cheap dresses for the quality that is given. They form to your body to make it the most flattering…I haven’t found a BB dress that looks bad on me yet! For this dress, I’m thinking of adding my Saint Laurent Blake boots and a thin brown belt. This dress was originally $118 but I got it for $59!
- Lastly, I bought this cotton shirt dress. I’m really into shirt dresses right now. I think I’ve bought two or three in the last couple of weeks! This dress is pretty casual so I will probably be wearing white Converse Shoreline sneakers. This dress was originally $118 but it’s at $59 now!
I would highly urge you to check out the semi-annual sale and maybe pick something up as a gift to yourself. 🙂
